Medium of Instruction

All pupils/students are taught in English, Children admitted must be able to speak and understand English sufficiently as to be able to be taught in English. All pupils in classes 1 to JHS 3 are also taught Twi and French.

Tema Regular Baptist Academy prepares students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination. Learning is the main Business of students at Tema Regular Baptist Academy. As such all classes are compulsory except when proper permission has been obtained to be absent example in the event of illness. The penalty for students who manoeuvre to write exam in either form 1 or 2 is cancellation of exam papers by WAEC.

Absence from School

Parents are expected to inform the school if a child is absent due to sickness or bereavement etc. If a child has been absent for two weeks (10 days) without explanation, then it will be assumed that the child has been withdrawn from the school. Pupils in classes 3-6 are expected to be in school by 7:30am to help tidy up their classroom and compound. JHS students must be in school by 7:00am.

Please keep us informed of your current telephone numbers home/workplace in case you need to be contacted during school hours. Parents or guardians should notify the school if a pupil’s place or residence is changed or if there is a change of guardianship.
